In an effort to encourage more people to complete forms and make payments online, Inland Revenue have announced that customers will no longer be able to make cheque payments - or drop off any returns or forms - at Westpac Branches from 01 October 2014. This change in service will effect all Tax, GST and PAYE transactions.

Next week the kids will be home from school for yet more school holidays, meaning  that some of your employees may need to take a few days leave to keep their little ones entertained.

We were all set to launch our awesomely delightful new look-and-feel this week but, unfortunately, during last minute testing we found a couple of very minor issues and decided to delay the launch. Hopefully these tiny bugs should only take a little while to sort out - as it's vital to us that our customers have only the best possible online payroll system available to them. So, once we have a few days of additional testing completed, we will announce a new launch date, hopefully in the very near future. We're still very excited, as we know you'll love it when you get to use it.

To help ease in the changes for all of our customers we have initially made the new look available -on an OPTIONAL basis- for our 'Employee Login' part of the system only.

Progress on our refresh of Crystal Payroll's User Interface is continuing smoothly. Soon we will be able to share with you these exciting enhancements and make your choice of payroll systems even easier to use - and even smarter for use on smaller screens (like a tablet or smartphone) so that you can be even more mobile. And remember, changing over to the refreshed system will be optional. You'll be able to choose when (or even if) you want to give it a try. Watch this space . . .

Xero's annual get-together for Accountants, Bookkeepers and Add-On partners is happening in Auckland very soon - on Thu/Fri 20/21 February in fact.
