I’ve been thinking about it for a long time now, but it just seems too hard. Too scary. I mean, what if something went wrong? I’ve been using my good old PC-based payroll software forever and it’s comfortable, even if it is a pain when I have to continually save back-up files. And especially when I have to download upgrades all the time - just to make sure the system keeps running properly (or if the IRD go and change something else, as they do). And sure, these back-ups and downloads do take up a lot of time, what with all that clicking and waiting and then having to transfer the back-up to a disk or flash drive or wherever to manually make it safe. Not to mention the time it wastes having to always restart the computer when I download an upgrade.
But that's how it has to be . . . doesn't it?
