How does a Manager Approve Employee Leave Requests

Selecting an employee, and if the employee has requested some leave it will appear here.

At the top you will see a blue link starting with 'Available' clicking this link will give you information regarding this employee's entitlement and balances etc.

Just below is the accrued balance.

In this example Andrew has requested 1 day of bereavement leave and 1 day Annual Leave (please note: this area is only for the employee leave requests, not employee working hours).

To the left of each leave type there will be a button, selecting this button will make that request the active one. And to the right of each type there are 2 tick box options, Approve and Decline.

If you want to enter a comment as to why you accepted or declined the leave click the 'Add/Edit Comment', you have to enter the comment before approving or declining the leave.

When you’re done click the 'Email Accept/Decline' button, then click the small button if you want to verify the email has been sent.

Any approved or declined requests will be place below.

Selecting the All radio button will show you all leave types at once, selecting the Annual Holiday will only show you that leave type, and the same with selecting the others.

The Show 'Current' button will show you all leave up to 3 months back. Selecting the Show 'All' radio button will show you all leave this employee has taken to date.
