How to setup a New Employee's Pay Rate
On the Main Menu, click Employee/Contractor, then Agreement.
Select the employee. Then click the Blue Pay Rate link.
Click add. Here you can choose Salary or Waged.
Putting the dot in the Salary radio button would allow you to enter an amount per pay or per year.
The tick box below (no overtime pay) relates to only the salaried employee's. For example you would leave this ticked if you do not want to pay a salaried employee overtime. Un-tick if you want to allow the system to pay them overtime
Putting the dot in Wages, would allow you to enter an hourly rate for example $12.50
Regarding the Bonus% and the Withholding Payment, these are not commonly used and need in-depth explanation. If you would like explanation please ring the support team at Crystal Payroll.
When done click 'Submit Changes' and 'Exit'.
